Hi … My name is Sharon Angus.  But if you got here via the URL, you probably already knew that.  Good times.

I’m an IT Instructor, currently workin’ it for the Keewatin Career Development Corporation up in La Ronge, Saskatchewan.  I don’t actually live there though, as I am a distance instructor.  That means I make use of high speed internet connections and software that allows me to connect remotely to my students all over Saskatchewan and parts of Alberta.  I’m crafty like that.

That also means I get to stay in my home community of Thunderchild, Saskatchewan.  It also means my students get to stay in their communities as well and be mentored by other IT professionals as they take the course.  It’s a pretty sweet deal all around.

Personally, I’m pretty into computers, the internet and generally all things geeky (i.e. science fiction, comic books, nerd rock, etc.).  I even wear the thick glasses.  But, I make it work for me.

I’m really like my job at the moment, but having an online presence is never a bad thing.  :)
